TAKASAGO GROUP-UNIMAS Educational Forest: Tree Planting Program

           TAKASAGO GROUP together with UNIMAS (University Malaysia Sarawak) and Japan-Malaysia Association have joint-collaboration of the tree planting program at Takasago-UNIMAS Educational Forest in UNIMAS West Campus for the second year.

           The event was participated by volunteers from organizations namely Takasago Thermal Engineering Co., Ltd, TTE Engineering Malaysia, PT Takasago Thermal Engineering Indonesia, Takasago Vietnam Co. Ltd., Takasago Singapore Pte. Ltd., Thai Takasago Co. Ltd. by Mr. Pichayut Uttayet and Ms. Khajitphun Rahula, and Japan-Malaysia Association.

           This project was occurred with the theme of “Takasago-UNIMAS Educational Forest: empowering the importance of forest through education”. At present, around 2 ha of the area has been planted with more than 3,000 trees from various species. For the next 5 years, it is expected that around 20,000 trees will be planted.

高砂グループ-UNIMAS（サラワク大学）調査研究の森林：熱帯雨林再生プログラム

           高砂熱学グループは、UNIMAS(サラワク大学)、日本マレーシア協会と共同で、2年目となる植林活動をUNIMAS（サラワク大学）で実施しました。

           高砂熱学、タカサゴ・マレーシア、タカサゴ・インドネシア、タカサゴ・ベトナム、タカサゴ・シンガポール、タイ・タカサゴ、日本マレーシア協会からのボランティアによって活動が行われました。タイ・タカサゴからは、Mr. Pichayut Uttayet と Ms. Khajitphun Rahulaが代表として参加しました。

           このプロジェクトは、“高砂熱学 – UNIMAS（サラワク大学）調査研究の森林：研究を通して森林の大切さを知る”という目的のために始めました。現在、2ヘクタールの土地に多種多様な3,000本の木が植えられており、5年後には約20,000本になる予定です。
