Thai Takasago Co., Ltd. joined ACAT (AIR-CONDITIONING ENGINEERING ASSOCIATION OF THAILAND) seminar about “How to properly choose Cooling Tower and Water Treatment System” on 23rd March 2017 at Swissôtel Le Concorde Bangkok Hotel. This seminar ignited realization that most of cooling tower we use nowadays have been overcharging us with electrical and water bill. To avoid being ripped off with unnecessary bills choosing an appropriate cooling tower should be necessary.
Moreover, we were honored by one of the speaker who was a specialist on ‘Legionnaires Disease’ that can be found in HVAC system, especially in cooling tower system. Due to most of the cooling tower operate in an open system that will release moisture containing Legionella (bacteria’s name) which is very dangerous and harmful to respiration system. Legionnaires Disease is very dangerous and it needs to be aware and controlled.
The seminar was meant to provide benefits for Air-Conditioning industry in Thailand. Not only the seminar introduced Legionnaires Disease awareness but participants also learned more about latest technology of cooling tower and water treatment system, including how to choose them appropriately and save a great amount of redundant cost.
